First Lady Melania made a surprise visit to the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson near Anchorage, Alaska for a brief visit with military families stationed there.
The people at the military base also had a surprise for her to make her feel extra welcome to their home. They made a giant sign that said “JBER Welcomes the First Lady.”
Melania wanted to make a visit with families there in honor of Veterans Day. On her visit, she watched kids using a 3-D printer to make small toys, met with military servicemembers mentoring the kids, and played with some toddlers who were making homemade Play-Doh.
Everyone was clearly delighted to meet her and the kids were beaming while showing her what they were making at the pre-school activity center. You can see the full video below.
